My mom was amazed with all the opportunities in the United States. She is always telling me and my sister that we should never take for granted the amazing chances we have as we grow up. My mom grew up in a Christian family with no technology except light. She always dreamed of all the technology and how it would make life so much easier. When she came to the Airport she was even amazed with the doors that open automatically. Every single aspect in the streets and the homes was startling to her. She learn from a young age that even the littlest things can not be taken for granted. Each day she is committed and devoted to raising her kids into seeing that life in its self should not be taken for granted. Growing up the way she did and coming to the United states really generated these ideas of being devoted to each thing you have.
